Tommy, I couldn't agree with you more. I have a son who grew up in the church (not ROCC), was saved (I was able to lead him to the Lord as a young boy), was very active in the church and was on fire for the Lord, but then his senior year in HS he began to slip away from going to church and then went off to college where he was "indoctrinated" in the ideas of the world and began questioning things of faith. He says he still believes in God, says he's saved, but hasn't been to church in 3 years. I pray everyday for the Lord to take the scales off his eyes and to do what is necessary for him to see the light and the truth again. He's a great young man and has a passion for others. He has run in to several young people at college who were regular church attenders, but because of legalism, have turned away from the ways of the church. Those of us who are Christian parents are foolish if we think that our kids will always live for the Lord. We pray that that will be the truth, but all too often we see Christian young people going the opposite direction as they get older. As a Christian parent, I love unconditionally and try to live a life that is transparent and truthful, but not a life of legalism. Legalism kills! Parents, don't forget to pray for your children daily, never give up on them!

As also a member of the mentioned groups I'd like to join with Rachel in saying that the kindness of the groups who took the burden of loading the trucks did not go unnoticed in the least bit. Thank you to all the individuals who took up that burden and also thank you to tommy for getting the pizza for us. About the truck breaking down, to me it was a reminder that God will provide no matter what the situation. I say this because of the fact that literally minutes after the truck broke down a good Samaritan who just happened to have the necessary skills and tools needed to fix the truck came driving by and stopped to help, which wouldn't be such a big deal except for the fact that the tool set he has costs money which is something the majority of people in the area we were serving in do not have much of. So the fact that an individual who was passing by at the time was blessed enough to own the tools we needed to fix the truck was a reminder to me of how great God is and how no matter what the situation, He will always provide

We are so blessed to hear how the Spirit has had such a powerful and profound impact on all of your lives. Praise the Lord for such an awesome experience. Any one who wants to be stretched spiritually and personally should follow your example and "GO" like all of you have. Thanks for your open hearts and thoughtful comments about your experience. I'm sure you will never be the same again. We will continue to lift you up in our prayers. Enjoy the "U.S." and your flight back.

Tommy and gang,

I am so glad to hear that all is going well in Mexico. I know God is using you all to make a difference in the lives of those you come in contact with. I also know God is using those same people to minister to you all as well. It has been so good to hear all the postings! I will keep praying for your safety and ministry while you are there and on your trip home. Thanks for being willing to work hard, smell bad:), and change lives for God! God Bless!

P.S. If any of you see Malachi, please tell him I love him:)

Dear Sarah: Well, we miss you tremendously. Life is not the same. The piano is not played the orange is not glowing when you are not around! haha. Amy missed you so much at the lake this weekend and Ben was so thrilled when I told him your ACT score. He was very proud. Dad is still talking about the "Cash Camry" haha! We hope you are listening to God, which I am sure you are, and He is growing you! We are praying for safety and can't wait for Sunday! Love Mom
